Sarcasm aside, Larry Olmsted’s entire series on Domestic Kobe is worth reading, if only because of his insistence on honesty with names, but I found myself more impressed by his linkage between truth telling and capitalism:
If you like Sterling Silver beef, you should buy it. If you don’t, never buy it again. That is how capitalism works. I haven’t tried it, so I can’t say, but I already like it simply because it does not pretend to be something it is not.
Like most things, capitalism would be a significantly easier structure if candor were the rule, not the exception.
