Defining Our Terms

The whole point of morality is that it is the personal metric by which we measure ourselves. We are bound by it only in-so-far as we view ourselves bound by it.

Law is the standard by which we all must adhere to in order to remain political actors. We earn the right to participate in society by following the law and, with that, we are also offered an opportunity to shape and influence the law.

We should try not to conflate the two.
